Directional precision.
Shape the freeze.
A controlled approach to cryoablation.
The Focused Cryotherapy System gives physicians control over where the freeze is delivered with selectable ~180° directional and 360° circumferential ablation.
Illustration drawn to the laboratory isotherm dimensions in the device labeling. See isotherm data for ablation dimensions.
Ablation around the probe.
Ablation on one side of the probe.
Selected at the console.
Each with its own channel, mode and temperature readout.
Why direction
Control over where the freeze is delivered.
Tumors and nerves often lie close to other structures. The Focused Cryotherapy System lets the physician choose, probe by probe, whether the freeze forms all the way around the probe or on one side of it. Direction comes from console control, not from a second probe.
Directional ablation control
In directional mode the freeze forms on the cold side of the probe, marked by the blue strip on the handle, so the ablation zone can be oriented toward the tissue intended for treatment.
One probe, two modes
Circumferential (360°) or directional (~180°), selected at the console with the same single-use Directional Cryoprobe. Switch between modes at any time.
Real-time temperature feedback
Temperature sensing in the probe reports to the console continuously, under proprietary dual-zone closed-loop temperature control, with a temperature history for each channel.
The system
Console, software, and a disposable dual-mode probe.
The Focused Cryotherapy System is an FDA 510(k) cleared cryoablation platform combining an argon-powered console, temperature-guided software, and a disposable dual-mode probe for controlled energy delivery.
- Probe20 cm length (needle only) · 2.1 mm diameter · trocar tip · laser-etched depth markings
- ConsoleUp to four probes at a time · 24" touchscreen · argon (Joule–Thomson)
- SoftwareMode selection and live temperature per probe; optional CT import and planning

Clinical applications
Interventional oncology. Cryoneurolysis.
Interventional oncology
Ablation of cancerous or malignant tissue and benign tumors, and palliative intervention, including palliation of pain associated with metastatic lesions involving bone in patients who have failed or are not candidates for standard radiation therapy. Circumferential or directional mode.
Interventional oncologyCryoneurolysis
Freezing of nerve tissue in pain management/cryoanalgesia, with the freeze delivered around the probe or on one side of it.
